US Mission Extends Condolences to Flood Victims And Their Families
Ankara, September 10, 2009 The U.S. Mission would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed in yesterday’s flooding and to all those in Istanbul and Western Turkey affected by this tragedy. Our Consul General in Istanbul has spoken with the Governor of Istanbul to express our sympathy and concern. We stand ready to assist our friends and allies should it be required.
