Consul General Cuts Ribbon at Papa John’s Pizza Opening in Istanbul
CG Sharon Wiener joined Nigel Travis, President and CEO of Papa John’s International, and Ali Yilmazturk, Chairman of PJ Gida Isletmeleri, in welcoming Papa John’s second restaurant in Istanbul at the ViaPort Shopping Center in Kurtköy. The U.S. Foreign Commercial Service office in Istanbul worked closed with Papa John’s to organize the event. Many families from the neighborhood joined in the celebrations, which included music, dancing vegetables and – of course – pizza!
