 Luther College Students with U.S. Consulate General Officers

Visiting Students from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa

Istanbul, January 23, 2007

Consular officer and Public Affairs Officer briefed a group of visiting students from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa at the Consulate General on January 23. They discussed the political situation in Turkey and the region, focusing on U.S. – Turkish relations, and also provided information on careers in the Foreign Service. The students were nearing the end of a visit to the region focusing on the early history of the Christian Church.
