CSI:NY Actor Hill Harper in Istanbul

IIP-sponsored Speaker of Opportunity Hill Harper gave a motivational talk to students at Kabatas High School in Istanbul, encouraging them to identify and then fulfill their dreams and create lives that increase available options. Drawing upon his personal experience as a popular actor, an author of New York Times bestselling advice books for youth, and a Harvard Law School classmate and friend of President Barack Obama, Hill energized and enthralled the students who eagerly accepted authographed copies of his books.
Hill Harper led a lively discussion with senior police from across Turkey at a talk at the prestigious police academy in Istanbul. Police were initially interested to meet Hill because of his role as a lead character on the popular CSI:NY police drama that airs in Turkey on CNBC on Monday evenings. But they quickly became engaged in a Q&A session on media images of America, Hollywood vs. reality, US views of Turkey, Armenia, Palestine, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and police as community leaders.
Hill Harper also gave an interview to a popular evening news program on NTV, a nationwide TV news channel in Turkey.
