Consul General's Visit to the Istanbul Consular District, Edirne
September 27-28, 2006
Consul General, Deborah K. Jones visited Edirne on September 27-28, 2006. During this time, visits were payed to public and private institutions. Some of these included; Governor Nusret Miroğlu, Mayor Hamdi Sedefçi, Selimiye Mosque, Bahai Garden, Sultan Beyazıt II Mosque Complex, Prof. Enver Duran, Rector of Trakya University. The Consul General also presented a set of the National Geographic and National Geographic Kids Magazine together with an annual subscription to both magazines at the Edirne Children and Youth Center.
