Consular Affairs

General Information

The Consular Sections of United States Consulate General in Turkey, located in Istanbul, is ready to provide assistance to American Citizens and Non-Immigrant applicants. 

The Consulate is located at İstinye Mahallesi, Kaplıcalar Mevkii No.2, İstinye, 34460.  The consular section is open every workday, from 08:00-16:30, for normal business. The consular sections may be reached through the 24-hour switchboard (90) (212) 335-9000.

American Citizens Services

Non-Immigrant Services

The Immigrant Visa Unit which is now consolidated into the American Embassy in Ankara, processes all immigrant visa cases for Turkey. This unit also processes Diversity Visa Lottery winners.

Consular services are also offered in Ankara and Adana.
