Brian Horton Quartet Enthralls 700 High School Students in Istanbul

The Brian Horton Quartet, here in Turkey on a Rhythm Road tour, wowed an audience of over 700 high school students and teachers in Istanbul with their fabulous jazz music and interactive teaching style. At first quiet and unsure of what would happen, the students soon began singing along in a call and response lesson, then repeatedly erupted in cheers for the band and lastly requested autographs and took photos of themselves with the band members on their cell phones following the show. Seven students and teachers performed on stage with the band during the show. A 4-minute news story appreared during the 7:30 p.m. prime time news on Samanyolu TV.
