Apple Hill String Quartet

Public Affairs Istanbul programmed the fabulous Apple Hill String Quartet for a variety of events with diverse audiences of all ages. The group gave a master class in the nearby industrial city of Kocaeli for students of Kocaeli University Music School. The event was followed by a mini concert attended by enthralled students. The following day the group played for enthusiastic high school students at Kadikoy Anatolian High School. Later in the evening the quartet performed at the Consul General's residence for selected invitees. Two master classes, one at Istanbul University and other at Pera Fine Arts school were followed by a concert at the Istanbul Modern Museum. This was the first concert held at the museum which recently celebrated its fifth anniversary. The museum staff was so impressed by the concert that they agreed to institute a regular series of performances at the museum with local and foreign musicians.
