Algiers Brass Band Performs in Istanbul

The Consulate General Public Affairs Office brought the Algiers Brass Band from New Orleans to Istanbul for the Istanbul Jazz Festival. In addition to performing at the Consulate’s Independence Day festivities, the Algiers Brass Band did New Orleans-style street performances throughout the city, finishing up with a flourish on the Jazz Ferry running from Kabataş to Anadolu Kavağı and back. The band is seen here in Ortaköy.
