Please be advised that the adoption procedure for adopting a Turkish child can be quite complicated (especially for potential parents who are not Turks or Turkish citizens). If you decide you want to adopt a child, please follow the steps listed in the website. Since the Consulate in İstanbul does not process immigrant visas, we encourage you to get in contact with the U.S. embassy in Ankara for assistance in the adoption and immigrant visa process.
