APPOINTMENTS

Welcome to the appointment page for the American Citizen Services Unit!

Starting on November 1, 2009 – and for an initial testing period -- American Citizen Services at the American Consulate in Istanbul will initialize an online appointment system.   Starting on December 1, 2009, all customers will be required to make an appointment to avail themselves of American Citizen Services. 

In order to provide more effective customer service, we are asking you to make an appointment before visiting our American Citizen Services Unit. Our system will allow our clients to plan their visit in advance, ensure shorter wait times, and allow more efficient handling of individual cases.

An appointment slot is for one passport application only. If you need to submit passport applications for more than one person in your family, you need to schedule more than one appointment on the same day. 

There is no parking available at the Consulate.  We recommend that you come to your appointment by taxi or public transportation.
