A reception was held at the Consulate building in Istinye to celebrate the two hundred thirty-first anniversary of the independence of the United States of America. A wide range of distinguished guests has participated in this major social event of the year.  The 4th of July is a day of patriotic celebration and family events throughout the country and abroad with roots deep in the Anglo-American tradition of political freedom.
